Can a pair of pants inspire you? Yes, yes they can! They inspired me to write my first fashion post. I have always dreamed of a pair of leather pants. I saw other girls wearing them and I just loved the way they looked, effortlessly chic. Actually, as I was browsing H&M I stumbled upon a rack of leather pants and leggings. I was very hesitant that they would actually fit me property as many in the past had let me down, but I went ahead and tried them on. They fit perfectly and my dream came true!
I was hesitant to wear them to campus at first, because I through I might be judged for looking out of the graduate norm. I am so glad that I did. I can’t remember another time when I felt so confident, strong, and simply amazing. I literally felt like the boss in those leather leggings! I wanted to wear them every day and quickly started coming up with outfits with my leather leggings as the focal point.
I think leather leggings are a wardrobe staple. Dressed up or down, you can never go wrong and almost anything will match them. Why not feel like you own the place? Leather leggings can pretty much go with anything. You can do the “I woke up like this” look by pairing them with t-shirts or sweatshirts, while still looking smart. Try dressing them up with a blouse for a date or happy hour. You could even wear them with sneakers and get the bonus of comfort and style! The possibilities are endless!

Timeless
Just like a pair of blue jeans, leather pants are iconic. They were made popular in the 1960’s by Rockstar legends, but their history goes back even further (Brief History of leather trousers). With over 50’s years of being at the forefront of fashion, leather pants will continue to withstand the test of time. Therefore, an investment in leather pants or leggings will not just be trend piece but a timeless classic.
